Medjool Date Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
1 Cups Butter or Margarine
1 Cups Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1 Cups Granulated Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Cups Sifted All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves
3 Cups Rolled Oats
1 Cups Chopped Medjool Dates
Cream butter or margarine and sugars until fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir flour, salt, soda and spices together. Add to the mixture and mix well. Stir in oatmeal, and Medjool Dates. Drop by teaspoonful about 2 inches apart on well-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 10-15 min. Let cool a few minutes before removing from the baking sheet
This recipe will make 7 to 8 dozen.
